PROJECT 1
Journey of the 5 Senses
Objective:
To produce an analysis of one case study relating to spatial typologies and poetics in architecture. Identify and explain different spatial types in architecture, and how they inform spatial use and experience. Subsequently, create tectonic expressions of different spatial typologies which impact on the uses and experiential conditions of space, and study and express the sectional drawing in relation to use and poetics of space.
For this project, we are grouped in 5, investigate an famous visitor interpretive center and analyse the building related form and space, the spatial typologies and poetics of spaces. We had chosen a visitor interpretive center named Facts Takern Visitor Center, located in Sweden, and we are required to create several boards to presentation about its function, spatial typologies, poetics of spaces and so on.
Final Submission:
1.3 A3 boards.
Reflection
From this project, I had learnt the analysis about the function of structure and building design, spatial typologies and poetics of spaces. The bond between elements shows the relationship of each detail designs, which is emphasizing most of the designing purposes that respond to the site.
