Building Construction I
Building Construction I is the first module that touches the knowledge of understanding of the principles and practices of the construction technology in the relation to site, plants, building components, foundations, floor and staircase, beam and column, wall and opening and roof and ceiling.
The teaching objectives of the module are to:
1. To develop an understanding of the structural elements in construction and its application in the building industry.
2. To have a comprehensive understanding and knowledge of buildability and the awareness of how buildings are developed in response to practical considerations involved in the process of construction.
